Summary


The Action Coalition of Taos (ACT) and the town of Taos settled their differences, stemming from ACT's 2005 suit requesting a restraining order which allowed them to display a banner protesting the second anniversary of the war in Iraq.

The suit filed in March of 2005 was filed against Mayor Bobby Dur n, Park Superintendent Dennis Martnez and the town of Taos declaring the town of Taos Banner and Use Regulation, as written, was in violation of the New Mexico and U.S. Constitutions.
