Luz of the Blessing Way, together with the child who bore the stigmata of the Christ, and the child's mother, were preparing to leave Jerusalem. Their plan was to go first to Rome where they would meet with three other companions of the Blessing Way, then proceed to America where they would be joined by the rest of the companions.

During their stay in Jerusalem they had accomplished much and healed many people. Their healing and their other life-affirming, hope-bringing activities had served to reverse some of the effects of the ongoing carnage, bloodshed and violence that was being ceaselessly perpetrated in the region and, by extension in the wider world, by those in control.
