Summary
While most people prefer to ride chairlifts to the top of Taos Ski Valley and ski down, 31 hearty individuals challenged themselves by getting to the top the old-fashioned way at the Second Annual Taos Ski Valley Up and Over 10K Trail Run Saturday (Aug. 25).
Racers ran the 3-mile, 2612-foot ascent to the top of chair two, achieving an overall gain in elevation of 11,812 feet. The competitors then proceeded 3.2 miles down the backside of the mountain navigating technical, steep terrain to the base area finish line.See the full content of this document
