J.C. Mitchell Sets the Pace for Short-Handed Tigers at Pojoaque Invite

An undermanned Taos boys track team came home with fifth place out of 15 at the Pojoaque Invitational on Saturday (April 12), led by J.C. Mitchell's top finish in the 400-meter open.

Mitchell, who ran a time of 54.10 in the event, also helped teammates Brock D'Alessandro, Alan Canedo and Anton Cruz nail down a third-place finish in the medley relay, with a time of 3:59.58. The quartet also took fourth in the 400 relay.
