We have buildings and we have green buildings. We have energy and we have green energy. Could we say that we have forests and we have green forests? Are not all forests green?
We could say that a "green forest" is a healthy forest. It's a forest that is growing at or near the greatest growth rate possible for the combination of habitat (in forestry terms, the "site" referring to "site quality", mostly forest soil) and forest community.
