Summary
The hot war against Gaza is over, the numbers of dead and wounded are off the news, but the cold war continues. The suffering of the Palestinians has not ceased since 1948 when the "transfer" began -- that is, the removal of the Palestinians from their homeland so Israel would have space to put down roots and become the new Jewish state. This was the death of Palestine as a nation and the birth of the Palestinian Refugees as an entity.
Of course the "transfer" was no more just and peaceful than the "transfer" of Native Americans onto reservations so that European settlers could establish their "land of the free."See the full content of this document
