As the current employees of Stray Hearts Animal Shelter it has come to our attention that some people here in Taos are not happy with the way the shelter is being operated. There have been several rumors circulating around about the shelter and we would like to address some of them.

A few members of the community have claimed that our animals are carelessly left out in the cold, that we are killing our animals purposefully, and that we are being mistreated by our management and Board of Directors. None of these rumors are true!
